Machines developed with knowledge, competence and experience
Since its start in the early 70s, SLAGKRAFTS has concentrated on developing, manufacturing and marketing machines for the effective and safe maintenance of roadside verges. Grass and brushwood cutting machines are thoroughly prepared to satisfy truly high demands in respect of operating reliability, performance and capacity. SLAGKRAFT’s research points to a clear link between an unobstructed view at the side of the road and road safety. SLAGKRAFT offers a safe road to safer roads! They supply a broad, modular range of machines, with or without a separate diesel engine, cranes with a reach of more than 12 metres, and heads with a working width from 1.25 metre to 2.1 metres.
A highly advanced head for safety and staying power
The working environment is often very demanding and presents the part that actually does the work, the head, with truly difficult and tough challenges. SLAGKRAFTS is aware of that, and accordingly impose extremely high demands on safety, efficiency and service life. All SLAGKRAFT’s heads are manufactured from high-strength materials to give maximum service life with low weight. A lot of attention has paid to the design of the cover, which must function as a guard at the same time as it provides the right air flow for the best possible cutting result.
SLAGKRAFTS’s head can be equipped with a quick-connection accessory between the crane and the head, to let you change rapidly between different heads. SLAGKRAFT’s type H125, H150, H170, H190 and H210 Brush Cutting Heads work according to the familiar and proven ”two horizontally rotating chains” Principle. The chain magazine is your assurance of simple and cost-effective operation. All SLAGKRAFT’s machines are CE-marked. All the heads are additionally ET-marked (Eurotest), which means that they have third-party certification by the Swedish Machinery Testing Institute (Svensk Maskinprovning, SMP).
Capacity and flexibility
SLAGKRAFTS’s new Craft Powerpacks have been developed to provide high capacity without depending on power supplied from the carrier. Craft Powerpacks offer the operator every opportunity to vary the speed of the basic machine, yet without affecting the performance of the cutting head. SLAGKRAFT’s Craft series is available with different engine outputs. A lot of attention has been devoted to perfecting the hydraulic system to give the best result. Every model in the series now has dual variable hydraulic pumps. One pump supplies the load-sensing crane actuation system, and the other pump supplies the transmission to the head, which takes a lot of power. All SLAGKRAFT’s cranes and head functions are controlled from the ergonomically designed control lever. The Craft series naturally has an environmentally certified engine and biologically degradable hydraulic oil as standard.
A world-class brushwood cutting machine
SLAGKRAFT’s experience and skill have resulted in the largest series-produced brushwood cutting machine, with maximum productivity and the highest accessibility. The machine’s robust base-plate is securely anchored to the grader frame by bolted connections. This provides clear and unique conditions for extending the long and powerfully dimensioned telescopic boom crane. The brushwood cutting machine cuts easily and with discretion in its immediate vicinity, yet without projecting too high into the sky. Together with our largest brushwood cutting head, with its working width of more than 2 metres, this gives a capacity that speaks for itself.
